What “touch-free” actually means

A touch-free — or brushless — car wash cleans your car without anything physically touching the paint. Instead of brushes or sponges, it uses cleaning agents to loosen dirt, high-pressure water to lift it away, and a spot-free rinse to finish.

Why brushes and sponges cause damage
